All of our adapted vehicles for wheelchairs are checked with HPI (Hire Purchase Information), which is the foremost vehicle database agency in the UK. An HPI check will show whether a vehicle:
:: has outstanding finance recorded
:: is recorded as an insurance write-off
:: is recorded as stolen on the Police National Computer
:: has been clocked - the speedo turned back
We supply an HPI Certificate to all who purchase one of our vehicles and can even do this at the inquiry stage, if requested to do so.
Part-Exchange of adapted vehicles for wheelchairs
We take properly adapted vehicles in part-exchange and the allowance made is based on a valuation that takes into account the following:
a) Make and Model
b) Age and Mileage
c) Condition
d) Cost of reinstatement, if any, (as we only sell adapted disabled vehicles in excellent condition).
Part-Exchange of non-adapted vehicles
We specialise in the sale of adapted vehicles for wheelchairs and do not normally retain the non-adapted vehicles that we take in part-exchange. These are passed on to the general motor trade hence we are only able to offer a trade price. This is based on make, model, age, mileage and condition.
We do, of course, offset the part exchange allowance from the price of the wheelchair accessible vehicles that we are selling.
