Warranty for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

Most vehicle manufacturers offer at least a three years warranty on new vehicles (parts and labour) from the time a vehicle is first registered. The ongoing validity of the warranty is subject to the recommended servicing schedule, which is contained in the service book, being carried out at authorised dealerships or at VAT registered garages, using the manufacturer’s parts.

These services are to be carried out at the recommended mileage intervals (which are based on the model and usage conditions) or time intervals (that are normally one or two years from first registration), and should be done which ever is reached first .i.e. the prescribed mileage or the time from first registration or date of previous service.

The manufacturer’s warranty for all wheelchair accessible vehicles is automatically transferable to the next owner. Many of the vehicles we offer are still under the manufacturer's warranty, being under three years old from the time of their first registration.

Where the manufacturer's warranty has already expired, we include in our price either a six or twelve month warranty, depending on the age and price of the vehicle. The warranty can be used nationwide.

It is possible to extend the warranty for additional periods of time, beyond that which is already included in the price, either at the outset or later on, at an additional relatively small cost.
